The GOG Tour
Prologue - Ty’n y Groes to Tal y Bont - April Stage 2 - TBC - May Stage 3 - TBC - June Stage 4 - TBC - July Stage 5 - TBC - August The GOG Tour - The Rules! Five stages over five months. Each stage is based on an existing Strava segment. On each stage there will be one designated climb for the KOM/QOM and one designated segment for the sprint, within the ride. You can ride each stage as many times as you want within the month, either by yourself or with club mates. Your best time for each month will count. At the end of each month there will be a stage winner, a General Classification (GC) leader, a King/Queen of the Mountains leader and a Sprints jersey leader, both male and female. After the end of the five stages the overall GC Leader will win an exclusive GOG Triathlon Yellow Jersey, the KOM/QOM an exclusive GOG Triathlon polka dot jersey, and the Sprint winner an exclusive GOG Triathlon Green jersey. Points on each stage are awarded as follows: 1st - 100 points 2nd - 99 points 3rd - 98 points and so on. The riders with the highest aggregate scores (both male and female) will win the jerseys. To spread the bounty around, if you win all three jerseys, you’ll receive the yellow jersey and the people in 2nd position of the KOM/QOM and Sprints Competition will receive the polka dot and green jerseys. In 2026, weeks introduce the GC60+ Silver Jersey, a competition for those 60+. To qualify you need to be a GOG Triathlon member, be a member of the GOG Triathlon Strava group and pay the £6 entry fee. You must also agree to abide by the Highway Code at all times, ride within your limits and always have both your own safety and the safety of all other road users at the forefront of your minds at all times.
